ISO 20022 is a game changer in payments and other transactions messaging. FIrst it enforces structured unambiguous data content. To be gone are the days when parties have to communicate back and forth to reconfirm content. Second, the data is much more compact, resulting in increased data transfer rates. We are hard atwork incorporating ISO 20022 in our FinGamma FM -our forthcoming integrated investment management platform.

Initial system design for FinGamma Enterprise Risk well underway. This system will incorporate best practices in the management of compliance obligations and controls in the financial industry. This area of risk management is undergoing seismic changes with a new focus in the EU on resilience, conduct risk, and cybersecurity. While non-functional risk was originally the forgotten child of Basel, it has greatly risen in prominence and importance. FinGamma Enterprise Risk will focus on applying AI technologies to provide dramatic enhancement in manageability and visibility of risks.
